Apple decided not to roll out SIRI AI in the EU.
The non-interoperability of their design made the update not suitable for the EU market.
Why? Because big tech companies cannot decide which EU tool should be used by EU citizens.

@PaulSolt I’m experiencing exactly the same.
Currently, I’m updating and refactoring one of my older apps for which I had never found the time to keep working on.
The interesting part is, that I enjoy refactoring it and feel very productive thanks to Codex.
@seraleev Depends on the target group.
I guess regular B2C and B2B customers still expect .com.
Tech savvy people might be happy with any of the other options.
@starter_story Great seeing indie developers being successful.
I guess the hardest part is getting lots of good reviews and ratings.
And as Sebastian said, it’s a marathon not a sprint. So don’t give up when it gets hard.
Is it just me or did the timeline on X get generally worse?
Something must have changed during the last couple of weeks.
I used to get rid of most political posts and topics, but now they are back. Topics I’m interested in only make half of the posts.
3…. I feel this a lot. Work follows me everywhere too. Part of my mind is always working on something in the background.
It usually takes me a few days of vacation to really stop thinking about it, if I even manage to at all.
I don’t feel bad about it though. Only that I’m sometimes not present in the moment and people around me notice.
@derrickcchoi@OpenAI This is the first post I saw this morning on X and I‘m excited to get to my Mac later.
This update is huge. You shipped a lot of features that I‘m looking forward to try out and make my workflow more efficient.
@hector_iosdev@AppStore Do you have a paywall and does that have a link to your terms or to Apple‘s EULA?
I had the same rejection due to a mismatch between AppStore metadata and using my own terms in the app.
I removed my terms and changed everything to Apple‘s EULA which was fine.
My app just got approved by Apple. 🎉 It took just one review iteration.
1st review after 48h > rejected due to metadata issues. Silly me. 😑
2nd review after ~2h > approved.
Let’s go! 🚀
