Bill Maher delivers a surprising moment on air as he calls out the slaughter of CHRISTIANS in Nigeria that the media refuses to cover.

“If you don’t know what’s going on in Nigeria, your media sources SUCK,” Maher said.

“You are in a BUBBLE. I’m not a Christian, but they are systematically killing the Christians in Nigeria.”

“They’ve killed over 100,000 since 2009. They’ve burned 18,000 churches… They are literally attempting to wipe out the Christian population of an entire country. Where are the kids protesting this?” he asked.

Maher’s diatribe drew a huge reaction from the crowd, and a big THANK YOU from Rep. Nancy Mace for bringing it up.

“Absolutely,” Maher responded.

@ChrisHMelvin @TJProvincial Teachers have lost money every year since Kelly Lamrock was minister. In my 29 years of teaching it was the only time we actually received a pay raise. COL was 7.6% last year. Accepting that over 4 years is ludicrous.

@jcgallaher @ModestTeacher Public schools have lowered the bar so far you can't crawl under it. I try to maintain rigour, high standards and expectations in my class but am fighting a losing battle. Glad my kids are nearing the end of public school.

I have spoken at many high schools. Not once did a student say that social media was on the whole good for them.

@emily_kellogg No to Chromebook. It only uses the Web version of word which is missing many features. I use an iPad as well as a lap top replacement. I use LaTeX rather than a word processor, however.

@Stephen_Hurley Given the abilities of AI, the increase in cheating, parents and friends or tutors who do the work for students...what authentic assessment do you propose that isn't work done in the classroom without the use of phones or internet? An oral assessment is the equiv of an oral exam

@terry_seguin I agree. The system failed. And it will always fail. The problem is it's failing too often. But the point remains. Money isn't the problem - people to do the job are. There aren't enough available professionals.

@terry_seguin Our health system isn't killing people. Disease/illness does that. It's not doing its job of saving as many as it can. Unfortunately money doesn't fix the problem. It only poaches people from other overwhelmed systems. The job has become so demanding and difficult /1

@country_heart14 I haven't published, but I use LaTeX for mathematical and scientific documents as well as scripts. It is a typesetting program and needs to be compiled. You write in the codes, like old word/WordPerfect docs. Hands down the best for anything mathematical.
