As a lib, I'm still desperately trying to cling to the idea that climate change is real and a serious problem, but how do I ACTUALLY know? I'm not a climate scientist, and so I rely on expert scientists to inform me. But when I ALSO see the same ppl telling me that there are more than two sexes - something I KNOW is a blatant lie - how can they expect us to believe them?

And I actually DO believe that anthropogenic climate change is a real and serious problem, and so if I'M starting to have these serious doubts, imagine how many millions of ppl who were in the fence are not just saying "nah, it's all bullshit, look at these ridiculous clowns, they'll say anything that confirms to left wing narratives"?

If climate change denial becomes the dominant force in this space over the next few years, media outlets like @washingtonpost will be the ones that are responsible.

As for the sneering of the mayor of Dublin toward @MalachySteenson and @gavpepper85 (both of whom were elected by the people and have a mandate) when they seem to be the only members of the DCC taking this crisis seriously. Dublin is going downhill rapidly. Safety is a fundamental and basic need.
Every other city in Europe you see police everywhere on patrol. Why not here? Because we have a shortage and cannot keep or recruit gardaí. Why not find out and sort it.
They keep talking about it and scratching their heads. Do whatever needs to be done to rectify the issue.
