40yrs! Wow, it's a long time. Feels like yesterday, but that's how long I've been nursing. I'm lucky to have trained at a time students were paid & spent more time on the ward than in a classroom. I feel blessed I still love my job, healing the sick #NHS @sashnhs

I watched all 3 episodes this evening. As it started I felt panicky, remembering how it was. Then I cried as I thought of all those patients we lost.
Thank you for highlighting a very real & scary time.
And people are still complacent

@DrRobgalloway And yet patients are put in "crit beds" on wards. In other words, squeezing an extra bed in bays, having to use a mobile screen to try & create privacy. No space for the patient & even less for the nurses trying to care for them

There have been a lot of changes
over the years but one thing that never changes is our passion for the job & our #OneTeam values.
