Don't you think some if not most applied for leave before the date was known of the sitting? Seems to be case as most did go to cast their vote.

Since no one in ActionSA is brave enough to say it let me say what they should be saying.

"We as ActionSA find the removal of the City Manager abhorrent. Both the EFF and ANC have betrayed our coalition and created immense instability in the institution. The charges against the City City Manager were frivolous. We rejected them outright which is why we voted against his suspension.

We will be immediately engaging with the ANC and EFF. We stated in July 2024 that the removal of the City Manager was a red line for us and we cannot work with parties that would sabotage the city in this manner."

Not that hard is it. Just requires having a backbone which it seems is notoriously absent in the party. Oh well.

LGE2026 is coming, its a race against time to loot and Mettler closed the taps. The ANC led coalition have done this before in Tshwane, they buy time when taken to court...will happen again
