Big thanks to @LightLabProject for an inspiring science and art workshop with our P6 pupils. We had a great time exploring light with mirrors, lenses and prisms, periscopes and kaleidoscopes! #stem#achievement
A huge thanks to Dr. Armstrong from @Sci_KinrossHS and the group of S6 pupils, who delivered fantastic workshops today with P6a and P6b. #SLLW#teamwork
My P6 class carried out an exciting experiment last week, using cabbage water as a pH indicator to test the effects of different household acids and alkalis. #STEM
Miss Duffus' @sqanews Science Baccalaureate class did a wonderful job of presenting their research in the form of a scientific poster at the S4 parents night last night.
My class today demonstrated the significance of using soap for proper handwashing. Pepper on water showed bacteria clinging to skin. Adding dish soap broke the surface tension, repelling the pepper — demonstrating how soap removes bacteria during handwashing. #STEM

Team visiting @broke_not broken to gather information - getting ready to organise the school's annual participation in the Christmas Hamper appeal. More info coming out soon as to how to get involved.
@BumblingDad83 That's crazy. I change company every year now and always find it slightly cheaper. Dreading putting my teenage daughter on my insurance though!
@BumblingDad83 I imagine he'd be amazing live. My dad was studying for his physics degree with the OU when I was a child. The Royal Institution Christmas lectures were a big thing in our household! 😊
