She spoke changing conversation, well that and also she wasn’t sure when school finished and she needed to be there for him.

“Hmm no, she told me she was cooking? Why did you two have plans and now I’m interrupting?”

Andy said that because she’d like too, she felt like she hadn’t seen the young boy in ages! She would just be as excited as he would if she went to get him.

“Yeah here it’s here”

She replied as she took her phone out of her pocket and raised it in front of the blonde.

Andy asked. She knew that Maya wouldn’t particularly reach out but she always wanted her to know she was there.

“You could have asked me to grab her a moment whilst you stood up you know?”

She spoke.

Andy spoke honestly, Maya had done it before she was one of the only people Andy would trust. She knew what she was doing.

Remembering the time Andy was sent to station 23, she shook her head. That was horrible, she’d never want to send Maya somewhere she didn’t know!

“But it’s different now right? You have the kids and everything.”

Andy spoke as she looked at Maya with a convincing smile, if she got to choose she would be the only one she’d want to do it.
