@technollama I think Douglas Adams did it better. Google's current AI feels just like Eddie. Eager to please, but annoyingly so at times and offering help and ideas when not asked. I can imagine a model ending up like Marvin.
@PaprikaGirl_JP@riki8969 Each dashi had a distinctive dance style. Some of the children pulling them looked really excited (not so all of the adults). Much alcohol seemed to be consumed.
@Colin_P_A_Jones@OrinKerr But different menus in different places than the old seven you got used to. There's also now a switch to double fuel consumption that is turned on by default.
@Colin_P_A_Jones In Amami, I observe, that tattoos are very common on men (it was a tradition a generation or so ago), so the public baths don't even try to ban them.
@yuanyi_z It's an anomalous form of title, dating to a decree by Otto IV, recognised in England in the Treaty of Canterbury. Of course that may be a mistake.
@shinobu_books@lefineder There's a lady in my village who was born then. The mayor of our town thinks it is rather cool we have people born in every era from then onwards. Too young to have been in the Ōshima Women's Labor Volunteer Corps.
@Scott_Wortley I'm amazed at how dumb scripts can be. Surely no-one thinks that if you just *accused* of murder (let's not worry about the lack of a caution) your inheritance instantly becomes the next heir's to do with as they please.
@Scott_Wortley Fast work getting a Grant of Administration Ad Colligenda Bona in a matter of hours, still wouldn't allow the sale of land. Anyone who thinks probate works that fast is going to be horribly disappointed if a close relative dies.
@yuanyi_z Small group teaching is really a college not university matter. This is not merely theoretical. In my first year, there were no maths fellows at my college, so no-one was passing "their" supervisions on.
