@oncor Weather reporting has been very accurate by weather professionals. Consider spending your time restoring power and not re-reporting weather conditions that we all know and rely on competent experts to provide. They have it covered. Is your job covered?
@oncor@JMD20212 Where are you seeing patience? I appreciate your condescending and patronizing responses. No one is being patient with Oncor or ERCOT. No one appreciates the systemic incompetence and failed response.
@MikeDoocyFox4 Pride in our independent grid is really working for us. I am so proud. I am cold and sitting in the dark, but I do not have to rely on my neighbors at least. If I was warm and could see across the room I would hate it if the power came from New Mexico.
@MikeDoocyFox4 We need to gut Oncor and ERCOT and replace the incompetence with forward thinking problem solvers. One or more class actions and public outcry will get the ball rolling. No more. Up north this would hardly be called a storm and they would continue power.
@oncor@MarkSCC I will support, encourage and originate a class action against both Oncor and ERCOT. Every summer we get grid warnings. We learned nothing from 2011. It is time for radical consequences and action. Rebuild from the ground up. The incompetence is monumental.
@oncor@MarkSCC Since Oncor and ERCOT can't predict any aspect of their business, nor can they prepare for high demand any year, everyone needs to go and be replaced by forward thinking people who will make sure that we don't get grid warnings every year, mostly in the summer, and in the winter.
@oncor I’m trying to be prepared, but I can’t get a restoration estimate by email or text or web or most recently DM. Should I prepare to go to a hotel? Should I make a reservation for a night? A week? A month? Or not at all? Oncor will you help me “be prepared” by giving me a hint?
@oncor I will be calculating the mean income for the neighborhoods that have not lost power at all to see if the higher income neighborhoods have avoided being rolled. Rolling blackouts that is.
@oncor Why have some of my friends not lost power for even a second (in Plano) and we have lost it 5 times since 130 am for over 9 hours? The definition of rolling most be close to discriminating or we must of had 5 unprecedented snowstorms at my house.
@oncor Our grid is unreliable and unpredictable and when we need it most you can be sure it’s not there. Pick your season. I am personally starting the class action. The entire organization needs gutted and replaced by forward thinking, competent people. There is no resilience.
@oncor We get grid warnings every year. Mostly in the summer. This is a level of incompetence that is unacceptable. How many years does it take to address the power grid? How many decades? We are the 5th largest metro and we live like a third world country
See that orange banner on top of the sign? That’s not the “top rated” medallion. It’s the indelibly etched “delayed” notice that is part of virtually every American Airlines flight. I’ll post pictures from DC in a week or so when I arrive.
