@jezzbah I feel this because my children are very light-skinned with light eyes but look just like me. But white folks get confused until they really look at them and not just their skin color.
One of the great joys in serving on Council are the weekly "centering moments" provided by Rock Star Poet Laureate Fred Joiner. As @fjoiner's appointment winds down, I'm looking forward to the new voice that Poet Laureate Liza Wolff-Francis will bring to the Chamber.

@ryanbee I would love to see that sliver of a street closed. It would create a nice anchor with a corridor to Town Commons. It would a a perfect place for live music and festivals downtown.
