@TalkinBaseball_ Thank god the Tyranny of the Umpire is over. HIs comments INFURIATE me as a fan. "Managing" ganes meant umpires inflating their egos and enacting vendetta at the worst of times and at the best of times innocently getting calls wrong. Thank god we have a way to get it right now
@BNightengale Honestly reading his comments... thank god the tyranny of the umpire is over. The guys who thought they were gods and "managed" the games as Laz termed it, ruined it. Like it or not, calls should be black and white. Their is no subjectivity over a player being safe or out.
@RealMattlanta Giving up premium talent for any of those guys would have been a mistake based off how they have finished the season. Where's Mahle has obviously been nails cost nothing.
At least from a starting pitching standpoint AA nailed the deadline in hindsight.
@RealMattlanta
Hey- possible topic for the show, is it time for the fans and media to acknowledge we were wrong and AA was right? The guys we all wanted AA to add in addition to Mahle have really struggled since the deadline. Mize, Ray, Guasman, Castillo, Soriano.
@jmthrivept 12 team auction. Keeper league with 2 flex. I walked away with Bijan and Judkins holding down RB. Rice, waddle, burden, Washington to pair with kraft and Hurts
@dwainmcfarland Dwain- I saw Michael Wilson's last update was before he signed that massive extension. Does that change your opinion at all? Him playing the z plus the money seems to imply the team expects more of the back half of 2025. Or am I reading too much into the $$
@thejoeholkashow Hmm Joe- may want to revisit number 16. While it is true London had his option year exercised, id think the bigger story is the 4 year 140M contract he signed, signaling the Falcons view him as one the leagues Elite.
@dwainmcfarland Hey @dwainmcfarland question for ya- it seems like all your articles are behind a tier 2 parallel on fantasy life now. I love your content but annual price of tier 2 would be like 33% of my winnings if I won the league so its really tough to justify. Sad I cant read ur content
@bnachop Completely uninformed post. Juat because they didnt offer doesn't mean the undervalued. If I go look at a house the asking price is 3M and I say geez my budget is 1M. That doesnt mean I undervalued. I simply couldnt afford it. AA looked at all 26 spots and made his call.
@MyShribone@mlbbowman This tweet is crazy man. If not for Rosario, Pedersen or Soler playing out of their minds we dont win either. Teams need both timely hitting and pitching or they lose to the hot team that does.
@MattPowers31 Aren't both out of options? If so it makes all the sense in the world. They would have both been released for Thomas and Murphy. No one else you can release. Why not get something if value albeit minimal
@atlbell929@Braves I have to wonder if the Skubal change led to a shift in strategy as i do think it greatly increases the likelihood of a lock out and salary cap meaning prospects become even more valuable while players with 2 or 3 years of control become less valuable if next year is a wash
@NjTank99 Thats a great return for 2 months of a guy wuth a 5 era and almost 8 era in his last 9 starts. You need to have better expectations around what a Peralta was going to bring back. Id have been pissed to see the braves give that up for him.
@MeekPhill_ So the value prop for most teams isnt the same as what the Dodgers. They csn view it as prospect package for 10 yrs of skubal. Other teams know they canr compete on $$ in free agency so they cant offer the same for just 2 months of a player
@MeekPhill_ Its not prospects though because the dodgers are uniquely positioned to offer Skubal 40M for some monster term without breaking a sweat before any other team can. So they know they can lock up skubal long term. Other teams look at it as a rental.
