حضرت انس بن مالکؓ سے روایت ہے کہ رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا:اللہ تعالیٰ فرماتا ہے کہ جس شخص نے میرے کسی ولی کی بے حرمتی کی، اُس نے گویا میرے خلاف جنگ چھیڑ دی، اور میں اپنے اولیاء کی خاطر ایسے جوشِ غضب میں آتا ہوں جیسے ایک بپھرا ہوا شیر غصے سے جھپٹ پڑتا ہے۔

Excellent Morals, Knowledge, and Courage in Propagation

“Then, also remember that if your morals are excellent, your academic standard is high, then you do not need to fear any opponent. Rather, a courage and bravery will be born within you from this. We have many missionaries whose academic standard is also good, and by debating with opponents, they silence them. But remember in the field of propagation as well that in addition to lofty arguments, tenderness and excellent morals are also essential, and this should be manifested, and then you should converse with arguments.
This is the command of the Holy Quran. This is the command of the Holy Prophet (sa). This is what the Promised Messiah (as) has taught us; that words should never utter from our mouths that in any way exhibit harshness. For this indicates a lack of courage and a lack of knowledge. Therefore, the standard of excellent morals must be the highest quality of every Murabbi.”

The Truthfulness of the Holy Prophet (sa)

“Various aspects of the life and character of the Holy Prophet (sa) were being mentioned. Today, his morals, truthfulness, honesty and integrity will be discussed. Among incidents pertaining to the life and character of the Holy Prophet (sa), we find most excellent examples of his truthfulness, so much so that even his enemies could not refrain from acknowledging his exceptional standard of honesty and truthfulness.

Allah the Almighty has described this very standard of his truthfulness in the Holy Qur’an and instructed the Holy Prophet (sa) to say that I have never spoken a lie under any circumstances. Would I then fabricate a lie against God Almighty by bringing a religion that is not from God? This is impossible.

At the same time, he also instructed his followers that now that you are following me, you must uphold the highest standards of truthfulness. As such, today, all of us must examine ourselves in this regard, for it is these very standards which guarantee success in every moment of our lives and open the doors for Tabligh.”
