The closest I can get to recapture the feeling of life without the internet is, actually and ironically, when I’m playing some addictive but not interesting trivial phone game or also when I’m roller skating in circles in my backyard
Like the distinction between life without the internet knowing the internet is an option and life without the internet as a baseline is so smart and interesting to think about
