By afternoon, my energy usually feels different.
The excitement of the morning is gone.
The unfinished things are still sitting there.
And I’m tempted to tell myself, “I’ll do it tomorrow.”
Sometimes I think the real discipline is simply continuing when the day no longer feels fresh.
Not perfectly.
Just one more step.
I used to think charity had to be something substantial to really count.
Then I started noticing how many small opportunities we ignore.
Buying food for someone.
Giving quietly.
Helping someone carry something.
Sharing what we have.
Even making someone’s difficult moment a little easier.
Not every good deed looks important when we do it.
But I don’t think Allah measures goodness by how impressive it looks to us.
Sometimes the smallest thing done sincerely is the thing worth remembering…
🌅 Fajr is not just a prayer;
it is one of the most peaceful ways to begin the day.
While the world is still asleep,
a believer stands before Allah,
finding peace for the heart and light for the soul.
The cool morning air,
the gentle call to prayer,
and the quiet tears shed in sujood…
These are the moments from which
a beautiful day begins.
When I start my morning with the remembrance of Allah,
I feel a different kind of peace within me—
a calm that stays with me long after Fajr….
Night has a way of making small things feel bigger.
A message you didn’t get.
Something someone said.
A decision you’re unsure about.
A problem from months ago suddenly comes back into your head.
I’ve learned not to trust every thought that visits me at night.
Sometimes I just need to put the phone away, make dua, and sleep.
Morning usually makes things look different…
A new morning doesn’t erase yesterday.
The mistakes are still lessons.
The unfinished work is still there.
Some problems haven’t changed.
But I have another chance to approach them differently.
That’s something I don’t want to take for granted.
Every morning gives me another opportunity to choose better than I did yesterday…
I’ve made mistakes that I wish I could go back and erase.
But I’m slowly learning that regret isn’t supposed to become a permanent home.
If I did something wrong, I should admit it.
If I hurt someone, I should try to make it right.
If I disobeyed Allah, I should return to Him.
Then I need to stop punishing myself for something Allah has already given me the chance to repent from.
I don’t want my past mistakes to become an excuse to stay away from Allah….
I want them to be the reason I return to Him more honestly.
Prophet Lut (AS)
The story of Prophet Lut (AS) makes me think about how difficult it can be to hold onto what is right when the people around you are moving in another direction.
It’s easy to stay firm when everyone agrees with you.
The real test comes when doing the right thing makes you feel like the odd one out.
I’ve had moments where I cared too much about what people would think.
And I think that’s something worth noticing in ourselves.
Not every crowd is worth following.
Sometimes faith means being comfortable enough with Allah’s approval that you don’t need everyone’s approval…
Sometimes I’m more careful about what people think of me than what Allah knows about me.
That thought honestly bothers me.
Because people only see pieces.
Allah sees everything.
The intention behind the action.
The thought behind the words.
The things I hide.
The things I pretend don’t matter.
I want to care less about looking good and more about actually becoming better…
12 Rabi ul Awwal…
There’s something deeply emotional about remembering the day connected with our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
When I think about how much he ﷺ cared for his Ummah, it makes me feel small. He worried about us, made dua for us, and taught us a way of life that still guides us today.
I wish I could have seen him ﷺ, heard his voice, and sat among his companions.
All I have today is my love, my Durood, and the hope of meeting him ﷺ one day.❤️
May Allah keep us firm upon his Sunnah and bless us with his companionship in Jannah…
There’s a difference between having good intentions and actually becoming a good person.
I can mean well and still hurt someone.
I can care and still speak badly.
I can love people and still be selfish sometimes.
Good intentions matter.
But they shouldn’t become an excuse for refusing to improve.
I want my actions to eventually catch up with the person I think I am.

The greatest kind of wealth isn’t a huge bank balance.
It’s having a heart that feels content and a night where you can sleep peacefully.
You can earn millions and still feel empty if your mind never lets you rest.
I’m learning that a simple life, a grateful heart, and being content with what Allah has given me are worth far more than chasing more and more.
Real wealth is peace.
I’m trying to stop judging people by the one version of them I happened to see.
Someone can have a bad day.
Someone can make a mistake.
Someone can say something badly.
That doesn’t tell me everything about their character.
I know how much I dislike being reduced to my worst moment.
So I should be careful about doing the same to someone else…

Something I find beautiful about Prophet Harun (AS) is that his role wasn’t exactly the same as Prophet Musa (AS), but he stood beside him.
Not every person is called to stand at the front.
Sometimes your role is to support someone else while they carry a difficult responsibility.
And I think we underestimate that kind of goodness.
Being the person who encourages someone.
Being there when they are tired.
Helping without needing recognition.
Not everyone needs to be the main character.
Sometimes being a good companion is its own kind of service…
I used to think charity had to be something substantial to really count.

I’ve realized that not every thought deserves to be believed.
Some thoughts come from insecurity.
Some come from anger.
Some come when I’m exhausted.
Some are just old fears wearing a new face.
I don’t have to act on every thought that enters my mind.
Sometimes I can notice it, breathe, and let it pass.
That alone has saved me from many unnecessary reactions…
I don’t always wake up feeling motivated to start the day.
Some mornings I’m already thinking about everything that needs to be done.
But I’ve started appreciating something very simple:
I woke up…
Another morning was given to me.
Another chance to pray, fix something I got wrong yesterday, speak kindly to someone, and do one thing that brings me closer to Allah.
Maybe a new day doesn’t always need a big plan.
Sometimes it just needs a grateful beginning.
I’m trying to stop judging people by the one version of them I happened to see.
Someone can have a bad day.
Someone can make a mistake.
Someone can say something badly.
