The Green Men have now appeared twice in House of the Dragon. At this point, it can’t be a coincidence.

First, one appeared during Daemon’s strange Harrenhal visions. Now another has appeared when the dragonseeds arrive.
But George barely mentions them in Fire & Blood.
So why is the show suddenly putting so much focus on them?
And why does Alys Rivers seem to be connected to both sightings?

My theory is that the writers are building toward something much bigger involving the Isle of Faces, the Old Gods and whatever power is really controlling events around Harrenhal.

What if the Green Men aren’t simply watching the Dance. What if they’re actively influencing it?
