Jacobite Rising 1745: Bonnie Prince Charlie lands in the Highlands, clans rally, Edinburgh falls, and for a moment the Stuarts stand on the edge of victory. The march south stalls, hope fades, and Culloden ends the dream in smoke and steel.

As I slowly polish away at my chapter on the Cartagena in 1741 I had a break by painting a colour bearer of Wolfe’s Marines. One of the regiments that features heavily.

Boxer Rebellion - A Squadron of Imperial Japanese Cavalry. The collection will not feature too many mounted units, so these lads and some Bengal Lancers will probably do it in total. For the Boxers I have a unit of BoB Chinese Bandits in the pipeline.
Boxer Rebellion - British Naval Party from HMS Terrible. HMS Terrible was a powerful cruiser built for the Royal Navy in the 1890s. She served on the China Station and provided landing parties and guns which helped suppress the Boxers. Minis from Empress & flag from @flagsofwar
