Support staff shouldn’t be waiting up to 9 months for a pay rise. That wouldn’t happen to teachers.
Will you agree the NJC pay award and have it ready for 1 April, then ensure staff receive it no later than June?
First test for the Department for Education.
@Katie_Lam_MP Lots of residents are also asking MPs and the home office and just getting fobbed off we need to understand the level of risk posed against our children

80% of managers lack the necessary skills.
And companies hire the wrong candidate 82% of the time:
To avoid this, you need a clear skill development framework.
Fortunately, there’s a powerful one:
The Pyramid of Leadership and Management Development.
This framework highlights the key skills needed at each management level.
The foundation of the pyramid is Role Concept:
A full understanding and commitment to one’s role.
As individuals progress, they must develop more advanced skills.
There are 5 levels:
1. Core Management Skills
Essential for all managers - communication, time management, etc.
2. Operational Management Skills
For first-line managers - training, motivation, supervision.
3. Organizational Management Skills
For middle managers and above - training, team management, oversight.
4. Organizational Development Skills
Key for senior managers - strategic leadership, organizational planning.
5. Transition Management Skills
Vital for C-suite executives - a deep understanding of the big picture and corporate strategy.
Ensure your managers have the right skills to guarantee success.
P.S. Do your managers have the right skills for the role?
