There are much better tutorials by much more competent people that are much, muchhhhh shorter. Only give your time to mentors that have work you respect. I always thought it was telling that new artists consistently ended up with donut renders better than Andrew's.

The Donut tutorial has never been the best way to learn blender anyway. I finished the one for 3.0, it was mostly useless for long term development. You will learn much more by working on something you love and failing along the way. Andrew is not an artist; he is a capitalist.

@Xenthalos I'm just on the wiki much less with ER and for an open world game, not to mention a fromsoft game, that's pretty unique for me. Like you can look at the map and know where to get what you need for sorcery, rot, poison, etc etc builds. And DEX/STR builds are given options all game

@Xenthalos I think it works for me because the item placement is logical(+immersive!) and that makes replays with new builds fun. However, if I'm in the mood to play ER then I'm gonna play ER, for a modern souls-like I'm probably looking at anything after DS3. DS1 is a different itch too.

Mario Kart World just came out and is more stylized than Mario Kart Double Dash. I could recreate every asset from Mario 64 in under a month with the tech we have now. Just so dumb all around.
