Demanding everyone use metric all the time is peak midwit, and you cannot convince me otherwise. Imperial is based around convenience for daily use, and American supremacy is understanding both and when to use them.

By the way, metric supremacists love talking about how everything is divisible by 10, but you never hear them lament how shitty the base-10 number system is. Why not? 10 isn’t even evenly-divisible by 3. A base-12 numerical system would be far superior to base-10 (or even base-16 since it’s a power of 2), but we use base-10 because that’s how many fingers we have. Base-10 is based on human convenience. So, even their precious metric system is still ultimately based on the human experience and not the optimal abstract concept.
