Starting a thread for the 2024-2025 Pokemon TCG season. I’m rather excited for the upcoming season as this system rewards consistency over a huge win. I am also attending overseas regionals, which a first for me since Malaysia Regionals 2019.

With the influx of newer players coming in given Worlds being held in Singapore, inexperienced play is to be expected. However, people don’t seem to get it when said sloppiness is pointed out. How should we improve as a region if criticism isn’t taken?

I’m frustrated over how we are a month into the circuit and yet people are still playing sloppily in official events where stakes are involved. Things like chaining your tutors but missing out a piece in between or accusing angleshoots because you’re not attentive is frustrating

@KalystC @KashMann27 The shop I go to sorts every single set by type and puts it into boxes for easy browsing, which I feel is the gold standard for things. Most price their stuff at tcgplayer x1.3, which is the conversion from sgd to usd.

I just have to say this, but yesterday's Ultra Ball League event is easily the worst run event I've ever played in. And I've seen a lot.

- Registration didn't even start on time and we had to be there early (for what?)
- Event started almost 2 hours later than planned

The players who forgot to submit their decklists by ruling should be given a Round 1 loss.

But now they’re not giving them a Round 1 loss? So what’s the point for the rest of us submitting our lists 1 full day before the event?
