CHOI MIN-HO found fame as the Main Rapper, Vocalist, Visual and Face Genius of the hugely popular Kpop Group #SHINee, one of the most successful Korean Groups of All Time! He is a real musician, plays the drums and is an even bigger Superstar in his own right with one amazing voice! He is an incredible performer and all round entertainer and has contributed greatly to the success of SHINee globally!

Discovered at the SM Casting System in 2006, he made his official debut with the group on May 25, 2008, on SBS' Inkigayo! The group's first EP, 'Replay', was released on May 22 and debuted at #10 on MIAK. MINHO was much involved in the rap making of all of Shinee's songs from the very beginning! Rap instructor JQ praised Choi's writing on their first studio album 'The SHINee World', confirming he had "a few genius moments". JQ was even more pleased with Choi's rap lyrics for SHINee's 2009 single "Juliette"! MINHO has written a total of 43 amazing tracks so far!

In 2009 and 2010, Choi appeared in the Girls' Generation's "Gee" MV, and in 2009, he joined the popular show 'Let's Go! Dream Team' as a regular cast member. MINHO debuted as an actor in November 2010 in KBS2's drama 'Pianist' and has starred in various TV series such as 'Salamander Guru and The Shadows' (2012), 'To the Beautiful You' (2012), 'Medical Top Team' (2013), 'My First Time' (2015), and 'Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth' (2016). He made his film debut in 2016 with 'Canola'.

MINHO has released several hit singles as a lead artist, including "I'm Home" (2019), "Heartbreak" (2021), Romeo and Juliet", "Falling Free" and "Chase" in 2022, and "Stay For A night" & "Call Back" in 2024! In 2022 he released his debut solo EP 'Chase' which reached #4 on the Circle Albums chart in Korea!

His many accolades include a Jury's Special prize at the Busan International Film Festival (2021), an Asia Brilliant Award at the Asia Artist Awards (2018), a Marie-Claire Asia Star Award at the Busan International Film Festival (2017), a special Award at the Indonesian TV Awards (2017), a Popularity Award at the MBC Entertainment Awards (2015 & 2014), a New Star Award & Best Couple Award at the SBS Drama Awards (2012) and a newcomer Award in a Variety show at the SBS Entertainment Awards (2010)! In 2017 he was voted one of the ‘Sexiest Men Alive’ by Vogue! In 2011, he was named an Honorary Ambassador for Youth 2011 and in 2014, he was appointed as the UNICEF Unihero Campaign Ambassador "Giving Hope to the Children". In 2016, Choi was part of UNICEF's "#Imagine" campaign, which was first introduced in November 2014 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the United Nation's Convention on the Rights of the Child!

Due to his incredible good looks, charisma, and huge popularity, MINHO has received many endorsement deals. In 2014, he was listed among the highest paid advertising models and in 2015 he was chosen as a model for NY luxury fashion brand Coach and caused a sensation at the 2016 S/S fashion show in NYC! In 2018, he was the star of Gucci's 2017 F/W fashion show in Milan and Givenchy's fashion show in Paris,where he was listed among the best dressed celebrities. In November 2017, Choi and the First Lady of America, Melania Trump attended the "Girls Play 2" campaign at the US embassy in Korea, to promote the 2018 Winter Olympics. In 2018, he was chosen as the official face of the Korea Sale Festa, the largest shopping event in Korea, becoming the first-ever Korean idol to promote it. In July 2021, the Korean Professional Football Federation appointed Choi as one of five K-League Ambassadors to help promote the league! In 2022, the Korea Creative Content Agency together with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism unveiled the second part of their immersive cultural project "Age of Light" in which Choi had appeared as a virtual figure in the artificial intelligence experience booth, "Gwanghwa In". In 2022, Choi became the new brand ambassador of Ballantine's scotch whiskey and launched the new global campaign "Time Well Spent". In 2023, he was named the new face of Godiva, starring in their campaigns for Valentine's Day and White Day. In 2024 he was chosen as an "Olympic friend" by the International Olympic Committee to promote the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics in Gangwon. He participated in the Olympic torch relay in Chuncheon on December 5, and attended the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris!

Minho is also a philanthropist and in March 2023, he donated 5 million won to Cheongju North Chungcheong Province for the love hometown project.
