🎁 How does “GUARANTEED” actually work in RollerCoin boxes?

This is something worth understanding, because we’ll probably see this mechanic many more times in the future, especially in boxes containing Hamsters.

A box has a reward pool, but the rewards are NOT equally likely.

The best rewards usually have much lower drop chances.

So “GUARANTEED” does NOT mean:

❌ Every box has a high chance of giving you the Hamster

❌ All rewards have the same probability

❌ You automatically get the best reward

It means that after a specified number of openings, the Guaranteed mechanic kicks in if you haven’t received one of the selected special rewards earlier.

For example, if the Guaranteed limit is 40 boxes, you might get the special reward earlier on box #3, #17 or #29.

But if you still haven’t received it, the guarantee activates when you reach box #40.

And remember:

🎯 Drop Chance = how likely each reward is

🛡️ Guaranteed = protection after a set number of openings

🔄 Anti-Duplicate = a different mechanic that helps prevent repeated marked rewards

My personal approach when boxes cost crypto?

Either I open just 1–2 boxes for fun and accept that I’m simply testing my luck…

OR

I’m prepared to open many if I really want to chase the rare rewards and the guaranteed threshold.

Personally, though, quite often I think there may be better value in using that crypto to buy RLT instead.

That can give you an RLT exchange, to have a good multiplier during a Progression Event, especially when a Puzzle Event is running at the same time.

So before opening 10, 20 or 30 boxes chasing a low-probability reward mostly, it may be worth asking:

Could this crypto give me more value somewhere else?
