Michael Jackson wanted to live to 150 years. He hired 12 doctors to check him every day, tested every food in a lab, employed 15 people for his workouts, slept in an expensive oxygen bed, and kept organ donors ready.

None of it worked. On 25 June 2009, at age 50 years old, his heart stopped.

He spent millions of dollars trying to beat death. Death still won.

We do the same. We work like machines to buy bigger houses, expensive cars, cheap cars and expensive weddings. We save properties for generations we may never see. We forget to spend time with God and, our wives/husbands, children, parents, family members or even five percent of our money on widows, orphans and disable people.

In the end we own nothing. Our name on a paper means nothing.

It is not wrong to be rich but it is wrong to be rich without Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior.

What matters at the last breath is where your soul will go and how you lived for God on earth. No one can bribe God with money to enter Heaven. Live for God and please him while you are still alive.

Beyoncé was once a worship leader in church before becoming a global secular artist.

Think about that.

A gift that was once being used in a church setting eventually became part of a massive secular entertainment system.

This is why the Church must understand the power of Babylon.

Babylon has a system.

It knows how to attract the children of God with money, fame, platforms, influence and opportunities.

Many people start with a genuine gift from God. They sing. They create. They write. They communicate. They have influence.

Then Babylon comes with an offer.

“Come here. We will give you money.”

“We will give you a platform.”

“We will make you famous.”

And slowly, the gift that was once surrendered to God becomes a tool for building a personal empire.

Many have become slaves to the system because they wanted to make money.

They started compromising little by little.

The convictions became weaker.

The hunger for God became weaker.

But the platform became bigger.

The money became bigger.

The audience became bigger.

Not every opportunity is a blessing. Not every open door is a door from God.

Jesus asked:

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” ��� Mark 8:36

Child of God, be careful what you are exchanging for money.

Babylon can give you a platform, but what will it cost you?

Babylon can make you famous, but will you still belong completely to Christ?

The world wants your gift. God wants your life.

Do not sell your consecration for an opportunity.

Have a burning desire to see souls saved! Our Master Jesus had a burning passion for souls. When He was in Samaria, He said, “My meat is to do the will of Him that sent Me, and to finish His work.” His passion was the winning of the lost.

Don’t just exist around people without them having an idea of the Jesus you serve. Let your life and your words point people to Christ.

Keep sowing the seeds. Keep telling people about Jesus. Let the passion for souls never die down and as you remain committed to His work, God will lift you, in Jesus’ Name. Amen! 🔥
