what the fuck is phone tap culture in the US because everywhere ive ever been to i can use my phone interchangeably with my card without thinking twice and it's never been an issue
The trick to paying in JA by tapping with your phone is to NOT ask if they accept Apple or Google Pay. That will mostly get you a look of confusion, followed by an unconvincing “no”. When it’s payment time I just say “card”, once the machine is out I tap the phone and don’t ask any questions. Before there can be any objections it will say approved. Works most of the time.
@shhitsasecretsh@MattHausmannAtx@bradtjonas this is a fine response man. normally if someone puts on their trenchcoat to be captain snark with me it ticks me off and ill start firing shots back but this guy replied more level headed than anyone that's ever replied to me on reddit
@MattHausmannAtx@bradtjonas just the mechanic of rearranging letters resulting in words that change functionality. for baba is you it's words and sentences instead of letters and words but still a similar concept
@PsychosMarket i think the notion that this was a long term net gain in revenue for acnh or any game like it is ridiculous but i guess i can't prove it wrong
@PsychosMarket this has to be a two digit number of sales, if these motivating factors were in the game at launch as you're suggesting nintendo is deliberately avoiding, why would this not just translate into those same sales right now when it matters more?
