He's right $kas. Only a year and a half ago hardly nothing but the consensus layer was complete. Since then, a small crew of devoted and talented volunteers managed, among the rest, to:
- Reimplement the rest of the codebase
- Completely refactor the mempool and many parts of the code validation logic and difficulty adjustment to accommodate never-seen-before throughputs
- Redesign the API making future integration of Kaspa much easier
- Expose the API to WASM, creating an infrastructure on which KNG (already available in alpha!) was built, and paving the road to a future browser extension
- Design and implement a groundbreaking solution to UTXO bloat
- Polishing out a version stable enough to have been running in testnet on 10BPS with high txn throughput and stress loads of the mempool with a queue of more than 500k txns on the mempool, running as stable as a boulder
- So far migrating more than 3% of the mining on the mainnet to the rust implementation, further establishing stability
- and more, so much more
