Created this account to comment on all the anime/manga I've consumed over the years. Aiming to post 1 series a day plus random posts on what I'm currently reading/watching.
May not be fast to reply, so apologies in advance to anyone who ends up following me.

After years of being manga-only, finally watched the first season of Mushoku Tensei. Rudeus's internal voice being different really adds to it in a way the manga can't. The pacing flows a lot better than the manga and the cours break exactly at the right points. Really good!
@autopilotgod no reference for those fights.
Didn't even remember of that extra route tbh, definitely would love to see it and Fate adapted someday!
Can't even use the excuse they use for Ataraxia (the loop/multiple routes, which isn't a problem at all imo, just laziness)!
@autopilotgod Absolutely! I remember watching UBW and the moment Archer drops a nuke on Berserker in the graveyard and when he and Shirou invoke 2 giant Kanshou/Bakuya were just ridiculous. "Could" they do it? Sure. But "would" they? This obsession with flashy an be traced to Zero but we had+
@Jbanklestankle1 Sam is a man of focus, commitment, sheer will...something you know very little about. I once saw him kill three orcs in Osgiliath...with a frying pan. With a fucking frying pan.
Wonder if Kore ga Watashi no Goshujin-sama is one of the first "long-title-that-roughly-describes-plot" we ever got. Certainly delivers on the expectations with a title like that (and a bit more). Fun, lighthearted ecchi comedy with a cute alligator. A good watch!
One of the more frustrating things of dead internet is trying to find stuff like wallpapers. You get 100 "best [insert topic] wallpapers" sites and a grand total of 0 relevant results. Hell, back in the day you might even stumble on a forum and find yourself a new community.
@Shinuki1992 The free chapter model is totally doable too, but I doubt they'd all agree to that. Also, Jump would kick up a fuss if they were not on the frontpage every single day, so can't see that happening with a unified platform.
@ShinyaMatsui Wonder if the reason Aldebaran is one of the few that always wears his helmet is to remind us of Seiya's achievement of breaking his horn...
Here's the thing, I don't fundamentally disagree with her because every protectionist law is a hassle.
But at the same time no one is willing to tackle IP law which is what's causing this bullshit to begin with.
Right to repair, DRM, Self hosting servers, Reverse engineering, media ownership.
All of these topics and issues exist because of how horrible IP law is on a global stage.(I partially blame the World Trade Organization)
We wouldn't need any protectionist measure if you simply fixed IP law.
Oh, so Suiryu and Suiko's style is actually a Suiken variant. I thought she was the only one to use the drunken fist.
Those two panels with Suiryu's shift into drunk walking were *chef's kiss*
A short manga, only 35 chapters, but a very good read if you like the period and want a slightly more realistic view.
Absolutely recommend it, just be mindful there is a lot of violence, but nothing is gratuitous.

Day 180:
Reiri
Set in Sengoku Period Japan, quasi-historical manga following a girl and her search for death in battle.
Quite a gruesome read and mostly realistic. It is an interesting mix of action, political intrigue and reflection on what makes it worth living.
The art is very expressive and conveys the brutality of the war really well without making you read with a mop to sop up the blood dripping from the pages.
Nobukatsu is especially good at breaking the more depressive moments with his jovial ways and sarcastic comments.
