Tonight, in Washington, D.C. and across the nation, we came together to honor the over 400,000 Americans we’ve lost to COVID-19. The last year has tested us in unimaginable ways, but now it’s time we begin to heal and overcome — together.
Today, with confidence in science & at the direction of the Office of the Attending Physician, I received the COVID-19 vaccine. As the vaccine is being distributed, we must all continue mask wearing, social distancing & other science-based steps to save lives & crush the virus.
Months ago, I called on Montanans to learn how to live with this virus. Now, I am calling on you to continue applying what we as a state and nation have learned stops the spread: mask up, wash your hands, stay home when sick, and avoid gatherings that do not adhere to guidelines.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was a torch-bearer and a champion of justice and equality. Her peerless work spanned over half a century, and will always be an inspiration to so many attorneys, activists, and young women who look up to her as their hero, including my own daughters.
It might be Labor Day weekend, but let’s all remember that we're still in the middle of a pandemic. Wear a mask, practice social distancing, and follow the experts. It’ll save lives.
