@horton_official Recovering from a broken leg, I travelled to London, walking with a crutch. 3 people on the tube offered to either help me on the stairs or offered me a seat. I was amazed!

@VickyBall3 Look at the 2025 Carnegie shortlist! Treacle Town by Brian Conaghan & Glasgow Boys by Margaret McDonald (set in Scotland). Little Bang by Kelly McCaughrain (Ireland). King of Nothing by Nathanael Lessore. Not Carnegie, but Wild East by Ashley Hickson-Lovence is brill (Norwich)
