Each chevron is a person. A person who has put his life as a wall against evil. A person who defends Ukraine and Ukrainians, our freedom and the dream of all nations to live in freedom.

Each chevron tells us a story. A story of battles and resilience, successes and, unfortunately, losses. Each chevron represents blood and pain, friends who died, and lives that were saved against all odds.

When we see the chevrons of our warriors, we see the contours of our victory. We see its symbols, its mood, its creators - our heroes, to whom we will always be grateful.

It's an honor for me to keep the chevrons of our warriors. Some of them were given to me at the front, some were given to me by the relatives of the heroes who gave their lives for Ukraine. Each of them is important. Each deserves that Ukraine knows and remembers whose fates become a victory.

Last month, on the Day of the Marines, in the frontline positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the marines handed me their battle flag, a commemorative plaque and the chevrons of the marine units. I am very grateful and proud of our defenders, our people, and our Ukraine.

Distruggere la quotidianità e la sfera affettiva di bambine e bambini che non sono nati in quelle che il governo #Meloni, governo di estrema destra, definisce “famiglie tradizionali” è un crimine.

Ed è esattamente quello che sta accadendo a #Padova, dove è in atto l’assurda revisione degli atti di nascita di 33 bambini nati in famiglie con due mamme.

Questa non è solo #omofobia di stato, ma è crudeltà perversa e priva di senso. È orrore. Ed è ipocrisia. Un'ipocrisia davanti alla quale tutti noi non possiamo tacere.

Chi lo dice, infatti, che una famiglia padre, madre, figlia/o significa serenità o normalità? Se io ponessi qui, a voi che state leggendo le mie parole, questa domanda: quanti di voi pur essendo nati e cresciuti in famiglie che questo governo definirebbe “tradizionali”, hanno maturato traumi dovuti alla mancanza di amore e armonia in famiglia? Quali pensate saranno le risposte?

Ma vi rendete conto dell’assurdità dei discorsi che si fanno sulla famiglia? Famiglia non è semplicemente padre, madre e figlia/o. Famiglia è voglia di stare insieme, condivisione, comprensione, amore.

Quanti di voi sono cresciuti in famiglie tradizionali in cui mancava tutto questo, ma si restava uniti per status o per la vergogna di separarsi?

Noi, con le nostre vite e le nostre esperienze, siamo la prova vivente che famiglia è chi si sente famiglia… e tutto questo ha poco o niente a che vedere con il dato biologico e con l’orrore che questo governo di estrema destra vuole far passare riguardo alla genitorialità.

Non ci facciamo prendere in giro, non lasciamo che battaglie ideologiche assurde rovinino vite. Molti di noi sono la prova vivente che la #famiglia tradizionale può essere una finzione dolorosa, un istituto ipocrita. Che famiglia è dove si sta bene. E il benessere non lo valuta Meloni, non lo valuta #Salvini, non lo valuta Roccella, non lo valuta questo governo.

Indossano felpe, si travestono da operai, fingono di essere agnelli invece che lupi, ma alla prova dei fatti eccoli qui, ancora una volta.

Prima hanno cancellato il reddito di cittadinanza. Poi hanno definanziato il fondo affitti e per la morosità incolpevole. Infine, non contenti, hanno dimezzato il fondo per risarcire le famiglie dei lavoratori vittime degli incidenti sul lavoro.

Famiglie che vengono colpite da un doppio dramma: la perdita della persona che amano e, magari, dell’unica in grado di portare a casa un reddito.

Quella del Governo #Meloni è la strategia di sempre della destra: colpire le fragilità, fare cassa sugli ultimi e innescare nuove guerre tra poveri.

I miliardi di euro per premiare i furbi con i condoni, in compenso, li trovano sempre.
