And I know Trump will hate this. After almost ten months of President Trump back in office, the contrast could not be clearer. The chaos, the threats, the incoherence and the abandonment of allies have made one thing painfully obvious. Joe Biden deserved far more credit than he ever received. The man the world underestimated turned out to be the president who held the free world together when it actually mattered. And maybe, just maybe, he was the last American president who still carried the character and integrity of the old generation of leaders.

History will be brutal and honest when it looks back at the moment Ukraine stood against a larger invading empire. One truth will stand out above everything else. It was Joe Biden who got the entire Western world moving.

He rallied NATO when many expected hesitation. He launched the monthly military coordination meetings that kept weapons, ammunition and training flowing. These are known as the Ramstein meetings, and they became the backbone of Ukraine’s survival.

Biden achieved something no American leader had managed in decades. He unified Europe, Canada and Asia around a single purpose. Defend a democracy under attack. Support a nation fighting for its life. Ensure Putin’s war of conquest failed.

When peace returns, Kyiv will build memorials. That is inevitable. And one of them might be a statue of Joe Biden. Not because he was perfect. Not because he gave Ukraine everything instantly. But because he showed up. Because he understood the moment. Because without him, the coalition that saved Ukraine would never have existed.

Imagine it. A decade from now, when Biden’s family and friends visit Kyiv, they see a statue raised in gratitude for his role in defending a free nation. That is the kind of legacy any leader would be proud of.

Will Kyiv ever raise a statue of Trump? Of course not. Trump cut weapons, praised Putin, pushed Ukraine toward surrender and talked more about himself than about freedom. Ukrainians know exactly who stood with them and who tried to abandon them.

Joe Biden will be remembered as the president who helped save a nation. Trump will be remembered as a man Kyiv would never dream of immortalizing in bronze.
