Hey @Meta@facebook I’m currently holding my sobbing wife in my arms because her Facebook account was disabled without warning, and every solution to appeal only leads us in circles.
I chatted with your AI chat bot for over an hour and all it did was lie to me.
@maro254 It’s so awesome to see something you created and poured your heart into reach the kind of audience it deserves!! That’s exciting!
Price has been a limiting factor in my experiences with Secret Lair products. Will Mood Swings be sold at a price accessible for most families?
A widespread urban myth says that toilets flush counterclockwise in the southern hemisphere. In reality, toilets there flush “backwards” because they actually shoot water out of the tank instead of down.
This has given rise to the popular Australian phrase, “Bidet mate!”
(And by that I mean trans people and their loved ones. Not people who pretend they’re affected by fictional problems like who else might be peeing on the other side of a bathroom stall.)
Imagine how wild it would be if the only people making posts and comments about trans rights issues were the people whose lives are actually affected by trans rights issues?
@facebook@Meta Do you think @Meta and @facebook are aware that in the absence of any real options for support, a whole secondary market of scammers is popping up to take advantage of the people who need help? Do they even care?!
P.S. Please don’t trust any of the suggestions in the replies👇

@SimonScottsen@NateForUtah@DaveAlvord I suppose my only point is that echo chambers are dangerous as a general rule. And anyone giving counsel to automatically dismiss the views of those who don’t agree with you, is probably giving dangerous counsel.
Not expecting agreement here, just expounding on the point.
@SimonScottsen@NateForUtah@DaveAlvord Growing up LDS, I was often told, “People can leave the church, but they can’t leave the church alone.” Maybe that’s true for some, but it isn’t universal. I don’t have an axe to grind, and I still love and respect my friends and family in the church and respect their beliefs.
@SimonScottsen@NateForUtah@DaveAlvord Yet what is the point of sharing any of this with you if all of my experiences and perspectives are left invalid as soon as I confess that I no longer believe those doctrines? Considering how personal that journey has been, it seems a bit like casting my pearls before swine.
@SimonScottsen@NateForUtah@DaveAlvord My separation from the church was brought about by self reflection and the realization of how much harm some of the doctrine was doing to people I love. That for a suicidal transgender spouse, it was literally killing them.
@SimonScottsen@NateForUtah@DaveAlvord Are you NOT saying that all experts on the subject (in your opinion) are exclusively LDS? Do you believe there is any spiritual insight to be gained from people who aren’t Christian?
It is foolish to believe that only “those who believe” are qualified to have wisdom to share.
@SimonScottsen@NateForUtah@DaveAlvord But anytime you’re being told “Don’t listen to anyone who doesn’t agree with you,” regardless of the topic being discussed, that is a dangerous recipe for living inside an echo chamber.

@SimonScottsen@NateForUtah@DaveAlvord And herein lies the issue. You assume that anyone who isn’t a “believer” has never had a spiritual experience. And of course you believe that because that’s what you’ve been taught.
