@Emmachuuks Speed to built is more about avoiding injuries.
Machines win in the short term here, it’s much harder to hurt yourself, even if you’re weak.
Free weights are a skill movement, they incorporate more stabilizers and build better mind-body connection; wins long term.
Do both!
@Emmachuuks High power. Short rests, high reps, keep your heart rate up. Generally you’ll be at a lower % of your 1RM for most lifts as well.
Standard strength training with long rests and low reps helps muscle gain and fat loss but isn’t quite as much of a cardio benefit IME
@Maxis_arena I do alright with just one rest day per week, but 3/6 of my workouts are highly recovery focused.
Doing things like mobility, aesthetics, stabilizers, generally a lower intensity.
Once you put on a little muscle mass & lean down - you’ll finally realize how much you’ve been overestimating the importance of wardrobe and underestimating the importance of your own physique.
@justalexoki The French have a saying about men.
They say he comes once during the act, and once more when he tells his friends about it later.
Ladies are only slightly less public about this form of pillow talk, but are MUCH more candid.
It’s literally for lore to post in slut chats
reminder, sun exposure pumps Nitric Oxide release from your skin, lowering your blood pressure and mitigating stress. go outside. sit in the sun. other people can worry about the end of the world, you don't need to be the one.
I’m back. 💪
I’ve only been training for a month, so these numbers are likely pitiful.
But it’s EXTREMELY motivating that all my lifts are going up as a beginner.
Adding a plate to the bar every session is the closest thing to magic I’ve ever felt in relation to my body.
