Team AMG and I had the pleasure of walking in the Apalachicola Red, White & Blue Parade, one of North Florida’s greatest Independence Day traditions!
One of my favorite parts of this campaign is getting to experience the traditions that bring our communities together. I’m grateful to my husband for joining me along the route to share these special North Florida traditions with our son and teach him the value of community, service, and civic engagement from an early age.
Shout out to Allen and Jeannie Boyd for letting us outfit the gator and ride in the parade!!
Thank you to everyone who stopped to say hello or take a sign, cheered us on, and celebrated with us along the route. Wishing everyone a happy and safe Independence Day! 🇺🇸❤️💙
See you at Tom Brown Park tonight, Tallahassee 💙❤️
My son is here today because I was lucky during a high-risk pregnancy. Families deserve better than luck of the draw.
Four years after Dobbs, this isn’t political for me. It’s personal.
☀️ Team AMG had a blast joining the parade at the Watermelon Festival in Monticello!
A huge thank you to the Jefferson County Democrats for welcoming us onto their float and making us part of such a fun community tradition. What a wonderful way for the team to spend the day celebrating with neighbors, waving to friends old and new, and enjoying everything that makes Jefferson County so special 💙
✊ UNION BACKED ✊
I’m honored to earn the endorsement of the @FLAFLCIO.
Congressional District 2 runs on the hard work of teachers, nurses, first responders, tradespeople, public employees, and the workers who keep our farms, ranches, and local businesses moving. They deserve a representative who will fight for good-paying jobs, affordable healthcare, retirement security, and the right to organize.
For too long, working families in North Florida have watched costs go up while Congress gets bogged down in politics and special interests. I’m running to change that and I’m honored to have labor’s support and ready to take North Florida’s voice to Washington. 💪🇺🇸
Started the weekend off in Carrabelle meeting some really wonderful people at the Franklin County Democrats’ Up Close and Personal forum.
We talked about everything from life on the coast to rising costs to what people want for their kids and grandkids.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by and chat, and a special thank you to Carol Barfield and the Franklin County Democrats for putting together such a thoughtful event.
Always good to be back in Madison! Thanks to the Madison County DEC for hosting this week’s candidate forum and to everyone who came out to chat.
I always appreciate the chance to hear directly from folks about what’s on their minds, and lately it’s that they’re tired of watching Congress spend more time arguing than solving problems. That’s exactly why I’m in this race; it’s time to introduce new kinds of leaders to Congress 💪🏼
We officially qualified for the ballot.
Every conversation, every mile traveled, every event attended, and every dollar invested helped get us here.
Thank you for believing in this campaign and in a vision of leadership that puts North Florida first. We're on the ballot because of you 💙
Couldn’t think of a better way to kick off my Monday than officially qualifying for the ballot!
What started as a crazy idea while I sat in my front yard one day, thinking about the state of our district and the lack of representation so many people were feeling in it, has grown into a real movement.
Over the last several months, we’ve traveled across North Florida, met thousands of voters, built an incredible team, earned major endorsements, and continued to prove that people are ready for a new generation of leadership. The momentum we’re building is humbling. I can’t wait to serve the people of Florida’s District 2 🗳️💙
There’s nothing better than an evening spent swapping stories, sharing ideas, and talking honestly about where we go from here. Thank you to everyone who joined us last night and helped make it such a memorable gathering. We’re especially grateful to our hosts for their hospitality and for bringing so many wonderful people together in support of our campaign!
May Day reminds us that every right we enjoy today was won because people organized, spoke up, and refused to accept the status quo. Progress has never been handed out for free. It has ALWAYS been fought for.
Honored to have been invited to Taylor County's fantastic May Day celebration this weekend. Special shout out to Ernestine Mitchell for all of her incredible hard work!
This Memorial Day, I'm thinking about those who never made it home and the loved ones who carry their memory forward. Their sacrifice isn't something we can repay, but it is something we should never forget.
Thank you to Senator @AlLawsonJr who organizes a group annually to place flags at Greenwood Cemetery. And thank you to the American Legion for a beautiful event at the hall today.
I had the privilege of spending time with Kim Jones to talk about the future of citrus in North Florida and the exciting research he’s a part of that’s helping make that future possible. Thank you, Kim, for sharing your perspective and for all you're doing to help grow this industry right here at home.
From improving fertilizer efficiency to reducing costs for growers and protecting our natural resources, the work being done through UF/IFAS is helping lay the groundwork for a more sustainable and profitable industry in our region. A reminder that when researchers, farmers, and local communities work together, we can build an agricultural economy that creates jobs, strengthens rural communities, and keeps North Florida agriculture thriving for generations to come. 🍊🌱
Wednesday, I had an amazing time with the @AMGforCongress Campaign, running for Congress in FL-02.
First Congressional Campaign I have ever volunteered for and I had an amazing time, I look forward to seeing the work AMG continues to do around the Congressional District.
Nothing says “America First” like a bail fund for the President's allies while working families are out here choosing between groceries and gas. Glad we’ve really nailed our priorities!!
FL-02 Democratic Congressional Forum is on display in Tallahassee, Florida.
Diverse candidates, uniquely experienced in different ways, but all running for flip Florida's 2nd Congressional District blue! 💪
Join us tonight for an energetic community forum focused on the issues impacting our district most. I’m looking forward to sharing my vision for FL-02, hearing directly from voters, and having real conversations about local politics, affordability, and the future of our communities.
🗓 May 11th
⏰ 6:00 PM – 8:30 PM
📍 Watson Temple – 665 W. Brevard St., Tallahassee
Hope to see you there!
Missing the energy at Madison County Down Home Days last weekend! It’s all about neighbors coming together, showing off local pride, and having real conversations about what’s weighing on people right now.
Between the American Legion's fresh squeezed lemonade, the music, and catching up with folks from across the county, I heard the same thing over and over: people are worried about the rising cost of groceries and gas, access to hospitals and clinics declining, and whether their small businesses can stay afloat.
People aren’t asking for handouts, they’re asking for a fair shot and leadership that understands what life looks like here. I’m grateful for every conversation and every person who took the time to share their story with me. I look forward to fighting for you 💙
People feel like no one is listening. Farmers fighting to hold onto their land. Rural communities losing access to care and basic resources. Working families doing everything right and still falling behind.
Different stories, same outcome. They’re being let down. And that’s not a coincidence, it’s a failure of leadership.
I sat down with Tom Lewis last week to talk about why I’m running: because we can do better. And I’m ready to be a fierce, unwavering voice for our community in Congress.
Thank you to Tom Lewis and @WMBBTV for the opportunity to highlight our district!
