9 years ago today, SEVENTEEN released a song that Woozi himself probably didn't think would save so many lives through this song at that time.

I wrote this last year, but I'm going to post it in English so that everyone can understand how I 'see' this song and why I keep saying that Pinwheel saved my life.

This is the song that at first, I was like, “Oh cute! It's a song about a pinwheel!”

When I learned what it meant, I was like, “Oh, it’s all about someone who’s waiting for you.”

But then when I finally understood its meaning, I let out a rather long sigh, as if there were a tightness churning and filling my chest.

This Woozi's part when he said, “But still, don’t cry. It might be sad, but I'll faintly stay here for you.”

It's like my future self saying, “𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺, 𝘐'𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘭𝘸𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘱𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘭𝘺. 𝘐𝘵'𝘴 𝘰𝘬𝘢𝘺, 𝘺𝘰𝘶'𝘭𝘭 𝘥𝘦𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘪𝘵, 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘨𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦.”

I listened to this song when I was at my lowest point in this life that feels more like a race. At that time, I kept running until — without realizing it, my hope was slowly being completely worn away, until all my interest in continuing to breathe took its leave and said goodbye. I was battered and bruised, I was alone.

I was too busy counting the people who came and then left, just to become spectators who cheered occasionally, I forgot that there was someone who was waiting for me most faithfully at the finish line, the person who was most curious about just how brilliantly I'd shine someday: 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.

I'll never stop mentioning this, Pinwheel saved my life. I became aware that the reason I'm alive isn't ⭐ another creature with lungs ⭐, but myself.
