They wanted to keep pushing the narrative that they were still losing money because it keeps more money in ownerships pockets. Look at the salary increases the players just got

@bmw9999888 @IanKennedyCK The wnba has not opened their books either. Driving the narrative that these leagues are losing money helps the suits make more money and allows them to pay the players less than they deserve. PWHL is not losing money if they're adding 4 expansion teams this year.
