@LifeBtwnPlays@Kyle_Cush We're talking about 42 goals in 41 games. I don't care how you spin it, this is not just someone with a bunch of points that may be secondary assists. Over a goal a game isn't just "stats"
@Kyle_Cush I know the PWHL is fairly new but I really don't understand trading an 8th overall pick one year later for a 5th round. The valuation seems crazy low, regardless of a lacklustre rookie season
@xoNYCgoalies @IanKennedyCK Imo they couldve picked based on money spent on contracts or something to make it fair. Detroit and Hamilton did the best in signings, kinda crap that one was awarded 1st of expansion and one was awarded last, even though detroit technically doesnt have the pick
@bmw9999888@IanKennedyCK The wnba was very likely making money as of last year, huge tv deal, selling out many more games. They wanted to keep pushing the narrative that they were still losing money because it keeps more money in ownerships pockets. Look at the salary increases the players just got
@bmw9999888@IanKennedyCK The wnba has not opened their books either. Driving the narrative that these leagues are losing money helps the suits make more money and allows them to pay the players less than they deserve. PWHL is not losing money if they're adding 4 expansion teams this year.
