@MattHintz3 I do not agree @nfranzen If you can borrow for an operating loan, you can borrow for land or equipment. The only argument that may work is needing money IMMEDIATELY and not having time for the bank process to play out.
@DaveRamsey would say it's like borrowing money to invest it

2023 Corn harvest for silage tips - No. 5.

Hearing of corn fields drying up in 100+F heat thru much of US. Pay attn to kernel maturity. Don't hit fields too quickly if moisture's dropping but kernels are milk/dough.

Whole-plant DM can swing 5 to 10 units following rain. Corn is resilient.

@jjmichel_crops That is a pretty interesting talk. IIRC there is a pretty hearty back story to that slide regarding shrink swell clays and drying time/temperature effecting K results.
