oh, what a blessing it is to exist in the same lifetime as you, the same breath as the universe. in the vastness of time ﹠ space i was graced with the possibility of you. oh, what a beautiful thing.
Flertom simply nods, handing over her lute fully without any form of hesitation. She'd been swayed, knowing that his services were exactly what she was after.
In more than one way, of course.
"Mm... mind if I stay a while?"
“For you?”
Cold blue eyes flicked up to her. It chewed the inside of his lip for a second, pretending he had to think it over before cracking a smirk.
“Of course not, Fler. Not for my VIP guest~”
i look for you everywhere; small gestures made by all kinds of people in the street remind me of you, by their similarity as much as by their differences.
Flertom raises an eyebrow, treating Flynt's words as if they were the most serious words she's ever heard in her life.
She takes a breath. Pausing. Thinking.
"And will that, perchance, cost extra?"
“Y’know, I think I can get away with enchanting the strings along with the structure of the lute so you don’t have to do that as often.”
Flynt traced a finger along the strings of Flertom’s lute, giving it a cheerful pluck before leaning down further to examine the bridge.
i woke up wanting your lips on mine. i woke up wanting your arms around my waist. i woke up wanting our hands laced together. i woke up wanting to gaze in your eyes. i woke up wanting you.
-- for saying this... but, whoever enchanted that one back in the day did a terrible job. The old thing looks like it's about to snap under whatever magical pressure exists within it!"
"I'm sure," She starts with a simple purr, not before twirling a strand of her own hair in an attempt to look rather coy. "I'll have to probably replace the strings sooner rather than later, which in turn is a process and a half...and trust me, isn't a fun one," --
>>sure it’s alright for me to be dumping my magic into this thing?”he asked as he traced the woodwork with…

… a very nimble touch.
-- "I don't plan on pumping my own magic into the strings, truth be told. I feel as if it's more about the instrument itself, rather than the chords that are played. Then again, the only enchanted lute I've ever seen around belonged to my mother... and God forgive me--
but you’re the love i chose. out of everyone in the world, out of everyone i’ve ever known, i chose you. i’ve always had faith in that choice. at the edge of everything, love and faith have always brought me back, and back to you.
