Just think about this. About this time of day 13 yrs ago Michael Atkins was using Matt’s computer in the lounge room, whilst Matt’s dead body lay in their bedroom. Atkins was booking tickets for the following weekend’s Sleaze Ball & searching for a date on Manhunt.Loving partner?

By this time of day 13 years ago, Matt is now dead, at the hand of Michael Atkins. Today we remember our middle son who was stolen prematurely from us. We also remember the huge team who helped bring Matt’s remains home, led by Gary Jubelin. Eternal thanks to you all.

Mr Shoebridge told the court the families of the Bowraville victims “felt like they had someone on their side” in Jubelin. “They saw in Gary a police officer who understood them as human beings and understood their pain as best he could” he said.

#GaryJubelin Well, its not the outcome had hoped for, however, this ruling changes nothing in our eyes. Gary can still hold his head up high and will ALWAYS have our highest respect. He wanted his matter heard in open court & was pleased that could be achieved.
