Your biggest enemy is not your circumstances, competitors, or lack of talent. Your biggest enemy is accepting your Lower Self instead of reaching for your Higher Self.
You have a Higher Self and a Lower Self. A better you and a worse you, each part of you, each within you, each equally capable of directing your life.
When you think, act, and interact as your Higher Self, you create solutions, solve problems, recover from mistakes, reach goals, and feel fulfilled.
But your Lower Self is always trying to take over.
Your Lower Self chases empty goals, engages in shallow actions, creates problems, ignores solutions, and denies mistakes.
Your Lower Self is every impulsive, reactive, irresponsible, apathetic, undisciplined, and unskilled thing you are capable of. Your Lower Self contains all the worse ways you can think, act, respond, and relate to the world around you.
Your Higher Self contains your known and unknown potential. It is every courageous, responsible, caring, disciplined, and skilled thing you are capable of, whether or not you realize it right now.
Your Higher Self contains all the better ways you can think, act, respond, and relate to the world around you.
In any moment, ask yourself, "Am I living as my Higher Self or my Lower Self? Which one do I want to be?"

My dad wanted people to hear this message. But what he really wanted was for people to live it:
1. E+R=O applies to the biggest challenges in life just as it does to the smallest.
2. You can change outcomes even when you can't change the circumstances.
3. Even in the worst circumstances, there are good outcomes worth creating.
4. Just because one outcome is fixed doesn't mean all outcomes are fixed.
5. If you have the ability to create better outcomes, you have a responsibility to do it.
6. E+R=O is your greatest gift. Do what you can with what you have while you're here.
The Flier Football program is sponsoring a season long raffle for the chance at TWO seats for the for December 15th Cleveland Browns-KC Chiefs game! The seats are in Section 112; row 4 visitors side about 20 yard line. Maybe Taylor Swift will be there!
