Sometimes parents try to micromanage adversity for their kids. Good intention, but what actually happens is kids lose out on developing the ability to figure it out on their own. Struggling teaches them how to choose their own path. Don’t handicap them by always making life easy.

When I was going to church as a little girl , I didn’t understand why people used to cry during service. Now that I’m older, I get it. Life can beat you down so bad to the point where you know that God is the only reason you’re still standing. God is so good, I’m forever grateful.
