@IncognitoWombat@PersistantGamar@GaiusGuy things are worth what people are willing to pay. if you say "this shitbox appartment is now worth a billion dollars" and nobody buys it, then it's not worth that.
@DS2thfc @michaelknowball@Congregatio60hz yeah, and thats why you should listen to lots of different types of music and artist, and not only listen to tyler the creator so all you can make is tyler inspired music. the deeper your bag is the more original your perspective is.
@eXwhYZ_@theneedledrop@bloodylikeab0dy orr you could just not watch the review if you're so sensitive that you're gonna let another man's opinion on something live in your head rent free
@babibunie@PAWFETISH@blaccmassxx @slimevisions my biggest hurdle with ableton was getting use to the "excel" look and hitting tab to get rid of the sequencer :DD its good for gain staging but i dont really ever use the live features
@babibunie@blaccmassxx @slimevisions mostly sample based hip hop type stuff. just the standard eq eight, compressor, saturation, delay plugins, they're not fancy but they get the job done and aren't as gimmicky as something like "soundgoodizer"
@babibunie@blaccmassxx @slimevisions AND for beginners, id definitely argue that the stock plugins are better, i almost exclusive use stock ableton effects for everything
@babibunie@blaccmassxx @slimevisions also mixing and tracking vocals is easier, and you don't have to constantly hit "make unique" on every sample or sound when you're working with a sound outside of midi
@babibunie@blaccmassxx @slimevisions I agree that it absolutely doesn't matter what you use, but I'd argue ableton is a lot less complicated than FL and much easier to use when you learn it
@julianope_@ghstdad@Ciikorii@foxhrtX3 it's also on all of us to strive to improve living and working conditions and do things that will benefit society (voting, protesting, boycotting, unionizing etc.) it's not impossible to change the world for the better, but that's what billionaires want you think so you wont try
@ghstdad@Ciikorii@foxhrtX3 tipping culture is part of what enables these abusive working conditions. the fair pay of service workers shouldn't be in the hands of the customers,it should be required of the companies and the employers to pay fair wages that people can live on.
