@edmundmcmillen also, if you think solo runs necessarily need to be challenges, they don't, because there already are difficulty options. if i want to recreate that feeling of needing op strats to win, i can go in solo impossible runs, but forcing me to need op strats is making the game tedious

@edmundmcmillen Hello i'd like to share some of my feedback on mewgenics. The game is balanced around squads yet they're not mandatory, this makes it so in a solo runs, instead of being 1 turn vs 1 turn, it's 1 turn vs 3-4 turn bosses. It makes the game tedious and cheesy

@edmundmcmillen i remember attempting solo desert, and morana had 3 turns, her leeches would trigger 3 times a round and she'd just keep adding. the solution isn't to nerf morana, it's to nerf the amount of turn she has. a player cat can do more in one turn but bosses are meant to handle squads

@edmundmcmillen I think it'd be much better design if it instead of needing cheesy strats to win solo runs which are basically not optional for completionists (the whole playerbase), minibosses/bosses should adapt to how many cats you have on your team. 1 cats 1 turn, 4 cats 4 turns, that simple
