Ukrainian tennis player Marta Kostyuk on Russian players:
“You know, after four years, I think they've made it very clear whose side they are on. So, again, this is their burden to carry and this is what they live with, not me.”
🎯
Marta Kostyuk after reaching Roland Garros semifinals:
"We played historical match today with Elina. We had very difficult night again in Ukraine, especially Kyiv. So many people dead. I want to give this match to Ukrainian people and their resilience. Thank you. Slava Ukraini!
I want to point out Elina and her incredible impact on Ukrainian tennis, on Ukrainians, on me and everyone who is watching. She is an unbelievable fighter and I'm so happy to be through semifinals, but I want to thank her again for this incredible match."
Marta Kostyuk has reached Roland Garros semifinals for the first time in Ukraine’s history. She became first Ukrainian in history to reach women’s semifinal of this clay-court Grand Slam.
I will always remember watching Roger play this tournament on lo res streaming at night, barely seeing where the ball is, and being more nervous than taking my own exams...
A special video I'm very proud to be able to present to fellow Roger Federer & tennis fans today:
Roger's road to victory at the season-changing Madrid 2009 Masters title on clay; the lead-up to his iconic Roland Garros run.
Several of these matches have never been shown in this quality before, and now displayed in 4K resolution - enjoy!

I would keep playing if I’m Djokovic. When only 2 guys can beat you, there’s always a chance that something crazy could happen. Such as injury/illness (as we saw in Cincinnati) or a random fluke result by someone else (like Dimitrov - almost - at Wimbledon and Botic at 2024 USO).
@RazOlsRF My exact thought checking the scoreline (not the match haha too busy with life) tonight. And the Olympics!! I would rank that as his top 3 achievements, probably top 1.
Djokovic might not have won a Slam in the last two years, but his level at age 37-38 should be truly respected and applauded. It's tough imagining playing better at that age, with Federer being the only true exception to that.
