🗣️ Jay-Jay Okocha: “When I met Messi, I was stunned because he recognised me!” He called me by my name: ‘Hey Jay!’. I said ‘Hello Messi!’.
Then I turned to Suarez, who was with him, to translate, and I asked him: ‘I didn’t play in your generation, how do you know me?’.
Messi answered me himself before translating: “I know you well. I saw you play with Ronaldinho in Paris. You were a real star, and Ronaldinho himself adored you and talked about you in Barcelona!”

Where are those ones trolling the people that defended the EFCC action against the Osun State Government?
I hope you have seen this?
Well the President only acted in his capacity to allow peace reign.
Just tell your Adeleke that any money he swallow without proper accountability, he'll vomit it.

The simple problem is that, because there is no electricity, people go to bed early" — Ayodele Fayose, chairman, Rural Electrification Agency (REA)

President Tinubu wants to try a different approach to reviving the Ajaokuta Steel Mill.🤔
He understands that Ajaokuta's problem is more about economics than engineering.
He is in discussions with Chinese partners to operate the plant, this time backed by a 20-year gas supply guarantee.
Recent audits revealed that about 70% of the equipment remains in good condition, while the remaining 30% requires replacement with modern technology.
If this model succeeds, it could finally unlock the economic potential that has eluded Ajaokuta for decades
During my NYSC, I worked as an accountant for a cocoa merchant.
A few months in, my boss offered me a full-time job, but I declined.
Shortly after I resumed, he told me there had been persistent theft in the cocoa store and asked me to investigate.
In his words: “Abi no be wetin accountant suppose sabi do?”
I went through the records, reconciled the store activities, and eventually uncovered inconsistencies in the accounts. The numbers didn’t add up, and the evidence pointed to the two storekeepers. They have been stealing a lot.
I reported my findings to my boss, expecting him to handle it discreetly.
Instead, the next morning, he called everyone into a meeting and said:
“Corper Kunle, oya tell it to their face.”
That was one of the most uncomfortable moments of my entire NYSC year. I honestly wasn’t prepared for that.
