I don't know how to explain my point any simpler than that.

You separated gender and gender identity, which I agree with. So what is gender identity identifying with? Is it merely the label "woman" or "man"? Or is there more to it?

@MommaChandy @JEdwardRichards Yes, I agree - you can't define gender without sex, because what gender IS, for the most part, is the "societal expectations" aka stereotypes based on sex.

And I'm not sure I follow the rest - the "adult human" subset of female and male? What does that have to do with gender?
