after Imperial everyone said Teddy needed a solo to make up for the loss, THIS would honestly be such a perfect parallel to WWR but also ties so well with current continuity and obscure lores! everyone should give the thread a read!
the whereabouts of the knights is just one of many loose ends left from imperial cuz marvel ran teddy’s character into the ground and won’t even allow him the dignity of dealing with the fallout
what’s so annoying is that the knights and the alliance were ALREADY under-utilised. there was so much to explore but they just threw it away. what’s even MORE annoying is that the alliance falling has so many consequences that need to be addressed which gives teddy tons of-
@Quel_belore -powerful to depower him with *intention* and allow him to reclaim his agency. i love the way you’ve done it as it also gives him the push he needs to go back to space and fight for his people. nice work!! (and i’m honored u used my title suggestion x)
@Quel_belore ok wow there’s so much to say. this is AMAZING and exactly the kind of care teddy’s been missing lately.
teddy being depowered is something i’ve thought abt a lot since he’s often depowered with no explanation or portrayed as weak to prop up other characters, it could be so 1/
The Incredible Hulkling (name suggested by @flipsalias ) Issue One Rough Concept 🧵
With his husband bound to earth and his empire still in ruins; the former king of space believes he doesnt have much more to loose. Unfortunately; magic's recent restart quickly proves him wrong.
Seeing people complaining that post-Imperial titles got screwed over makes me laugh because Imperial itself screwed over everything that came before it.
Like I do feel like some newer fans are forgetting Billy and Tommy have had a rockier relationship. Their first meeting is with Tommy hurting Billy, and Tommy felt like Billy abandoned him later on.
A couple reasons I could think of:
First would be over use of events. The fact that there's been so many of them one after the other really makes them seem cheap and pointless. A stupid interruption that messes with existing comic runs.
