Braelon Allen is the clear RB1, but he does have some injury history and it’s likely that the Jets look to distribute his workload a bit more especially in a script where they should run a lot more than 32 offensive plays. It’s also worth noting OC Frank Reich mentioned that they had a plan for Isaiah Davis pregame last week but since he’s the RB2 and their drives were so short there wasn’t really an opportunity to give him touches.

Davis is an underrated player and performs every-time he’s given opportunity. We’ve seen he’s also effective in pass protection which is another path for him to steal some snaps. Books have his RA 2.5 juiced for the O. I’ll buy in as I think he sees 5+ carries in what should be a much more neutral game-script🔐

Getting this out early as I expect this line to continue to rise. It's clear that even if Haliburton plays, he's nowhere near 100%.

Indy will need scoring to avoid elimination, and I expect Carlisle to turn to Mathurin as a spark off the bench earlier than in previous games.

Mathurin is coming off a tough 2-11 shooting night, I'm expecting him to be much more efficient in Game 6.

It's also his birthday tomorrow, which could give him added motivation.

Another path to cashing this bet is for Indiana to start trailing behind early. Which would be ideal, as Mathurin has seen more minutes in negative game scripts as the volume scorer for the Pacers.

Minutes are my sole concern, but as mentioned it feels extremely likely that his role will be needed.
