Our Commercial Executive Gary Hall joined Captain James Allen and Senior Naval Officer for Northern Ireland, Tom Wardley, aboard @RFAMountsbay for the traditional plaque exchange to mark the vessel's inaugural call to Belfast. The vessel has been berthed at Harland & Wolff since 23rd December for crew R&R and routine maintenance.
Built in 2004 and operated by the Royal Fleet Auxiliary, RFA Mounts Bay is an amphibious support vessel, which plays a vital role in humanitarian aid, disaster relief, and military operations worldwide. Her call to Belfast highlights the city's importance in welcoming globally significant vessels and strengthening maritime ties.
