Challenge for Mental Health Awareness Month:
Turn everything off for one hour today. No phone, no watch, no notifications.
Wrote up the full thinking, including the personal stuff that doesn't fit in a thread:

Mental health and performance aren't in tension. They're the same conversation.
People who feel good think more clearly, make better calls, stick around longer.
Not wellness fluff. Just how brains work.
This applies up and down the org chart.
Intern checking email Sunday night? Not getting promoted faster.
Manager on Slack at midnight? Not seen as more committed.
CEO who hasn't taken a real vacation in 2 years? Not running a stronger company. Just a more fragile one.
Long walks with no phone. Hikes with no signal. Eventually I bought a float center because an hour in a tank with zero input is the most effective reset I've found.
Doomscrolling and "just one more episode" were never going to fix what was broken.
I learned this the long way. Rough childhood, two divorces by 30, a drinking problem I had to put down.
Spent the next 15 years figuring out what actually helps.
Pattern across all of it: subtraction, not addition.
Day 5 of floating every day for 30 days, lab results are in! Inflammation markers were higher than they should be, stress load was elevated. I am not optimized.

We all want to change, but change is hard. What if we don't like the new us? Dig into our blog and find out what happens when you float every day for a month.

@elonmusk sitting here in my Tesla, waiting for a child to get out of hockey practice working on my laptop. It would be great if I could cast my laptop monitor to my Tesla screen. Just sayin.
Training isn’t the problem — recovery is.
Targeted cryotherapy helps calm soreness fast so athletes can train again sooner, not sit out.
Gyms, runners, yogis: recovery shouldn’t be the weak link.

My @Meta account shows that I was hacked. Every ad is paused due to it. But every single time they email me they say "Our evidence shows you were not hacked". Is this how Meta works?
MA small business owner here.
Between 12/12–12/14 my Meta ad account was taken over, $12k+ in fraudulent ads ran, 250+ consumers were scammed, and 200k+ users were sent to a fake site. IC3 & FTC complaints filed. Still no response from Meta.

@DHLGlobal has been holding one of our packages in customs in NY for 2 weeks now. They keep asking for the same info, we give it, they wait, then ask for the same thing again. You can't get a hold of anyone on the phone and their chat is useless.
When we ignore self-care, the cost isn’t just sore muscles or a tired mind — it’s the slow erosion of who we are. Burnout creeps in, joy feels further away, and the best version of ourselves gets buried under exhaustion.
