Something like 70 to 75 percent of Americans are never arrested in their lives. Another 20 to 25 percent are arrested once, usually for something minor. Almost all of the arrests, especially for violent crimes, are coming from about 5 percent of the population. If all of these people were just thrown in a cage forever and forgotten about, the rest of us could live in peace. That's a fact. You could essentially solve the crime problem, almost completely, by arresting the tiny minority of the population that commits basically all of it. Instead we let them roam the streets, continually release them back into the public, and watch helplessly as they kill, rape, and destroy, even though nobody on Earth can explain why this system makes sense, or is fair, or moral, or just.
Unless you are a tax paying citizen, you should not be able to vote in our elections.
If you are giving nothing to the system, only taking, why should you have a voice?
It’s probably for the better but people of my generation can’t possibly convey to people from the next generation how much of a decline in quality of life we’ve seen in our relatively short lifetimes
The gleeful public humiliation of this woman -- as well as the man she was canoodling with -- was outrageous. They fundamentally didn't do anything wrong, and their privacy was invaded https://t.co/uITvTbUK4v
It’s just insane. People are consistently dying and getting hurt because state authorities refuse to cooperate with federal officials to turn over criminals here illegally.
There is no actual defense for it.
There are around 80 thousand Somalians in Minnesota. If they contribute 67 million dollars in state and local taxes, that means they each pay on average about 800 bucks or so. To put that in perspective, the average Minnesotan pays anywhere from 8 to 10 THOUSAND in state and local taxes. Which means Somalians are contributing more than 10 times less, to say nothing about the billions of dollars in fraud. The media is trying to make the point that Somalians contribute to the economy but instead they've proved exactly the opposite.
Some added clarity: NFL RedZone is seven hours — 420 minutes. Over that time, viewers will be served 1-2 total minutes of ads in :15 increments. This comes out to anywhere between 0.25% - 0.5% of the total time, considerably less than other sports/entertainment programs.
